Description:

The home of walnuts, as well as of many other types of nuts, is ancient Mesopotamia. They became widely used as late as in ancient Greece, though. Therefore, numerous languages use the attribute „Greek“ (nut).
The main world producers are China, USA, Turkey and Ukraine. The annual production of walnuts is approximately 1.5 mio tonnes.
Utilisation of walnuts is very wide - they are suitable both for direct consumption and preparation of sweet or other meals and, last but not least, walnuts are used in medicine.
We also supply smooth and whole-meal flour for bakers and confectioners for sprinkling and decorations.
