As typical for off season the market with dry fruits is not particularly active. The fact reflects into pistachio prices, nevertheless, the price is most of all influenced by estimated future harvest.
The prices from various sources vary considerably, most probably in accordance with individual needs. Nevertheless, recent estimations range between 200 and 220 thousand mt which is quite a lot.
Current pistachio prices 28/30 EU cleared in Hamburg range between 5,500 and 5,600 USD/mt, and they are slowly going down. Therefore, we recommend to make just hand-to-mouth purchases at the moment.
