The pistachio market is now stabilized compared to Christmas and also the Chinese new year.
Due to the facts that the 2004 crop is rather limited and the European Committee has introduced new, stricter, regulations, we can expect the pistachio prices to increase again. Some sources, though, envisage high yields and consequently drop of prices.
The current image of the pistachio market situation is not completely clear. We will know the real situation in April when we bring further, more detailed information.
